Grassroots and Junior Football Programs

The Western Bulldogs is committed to contributing to the development and enhancement of grassroots football in the west in partnership with AFL Victoria and the Western Region Football League.

The Bulldogs Friendly Auskick Centres (BFAC) and Bulldogs Friendly Clubs (BFC) programs aim to support local football organisations, whilst enhancing the experience of all participants. The Western Bulldogs recognise the significant contribution these Centres and Clubs make to junior football in the municipalities of Brimbank, Hobson’s Bay, Maribyrnong, Melton and Wyndham - the Bulldogs’ Backyard.

BULLDOG FRIENDLY CLUBS

The Bulldogs Friendly Clubs initiative aims to develop and nurture positive relationships with football clubs in the Western Region of Melbourne. In 2011 Bulldogs Friendly Clubs receiveD Western Bulldogs giveaways, junior membership offers for junior clubs, Western Bulldogs player appearances and an opportunity to attend a Western Bulldogs home game at Etihad Stadium.

BULLDOGS FRIENDLY AUSKICK CENTRES

The Bulldogs Friendly Auskick Centres initiative aims to provide AFL Auskick centres in the Western Region of Melbourne an opportunity for their budding young stars to meet their AFL heroes, attend a Western Bulldogs match at Etihad Stadium, receive Western Bulldogs giveaways and to enter the draw to have Woofer appear at their centre.  A highlight of the Bulldogs Friendly Auskick Centres is the annual AFL Auskick Superclinic with the Western Bulldogs players, held at various venues across the western region.
