Bulldog Friendly Schools

Bulldogs Friendly SchoolsThe Bulldogs Friendly Schools Program (BFS) forms an integral part of our Community Club strategy as it provides an opportunity to engage young people from all backgrounds and helps develop core values such as respect, leadership, harmony, teamwork and fair play.

The BFS Program has just completed its fifth year and shows no signs of slowing.  In 2011,  50 primary schools and 40 secondary schools took part in the program through a wide range of initiatives.  The program also provided up to 100 Victoria University pre-service teachers with an opportunity to further develop their teaching skills through a quality community based partnership.

All Bulldogs Friendly Schools are provided with opportunities to receive Western Bulldogs player appearances, Bulldogs Backyard tickets at Etihad Stadium, invitations to  community and leadership events and Western Bulldogs giveaways.  With continued support from Mission Foods and Victoria University, the BFS will continue to grow in 2011 and beyond.

For further information on the BFS or to find out how your school can get involved,  please contact SpiritWest Services on 1300 GO DOGS (46 36 47) or email: spiritwestservices@westernbulldogs.com.au
