2018 Bulldogs Grand Final Raffle Terms & Conditions

AFL Authorised Grand Final Promotion: GFAFL 18/134

Vic Permit No: 10429/18.

Permit Holder is Western Bulldogs Football Club.

Raffle commences Monday 27 August 2018. Tickets must be purchased by 12 pm Tuesday 25 September 2018. The raffle will be drawn at 1pm at Victoria University Whitten Oval on Tuesday 25 September 2018. The name of the winner will be published online at westernbulldogs.com.au by Wednesday 26 September 2018. Tickets are 1 for $20 or 3 for $50 and the maximum number of tickets available for sale 6,000.

The winner will be notified by phone, it is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that their contact details are accurate and that they will be available at the provided detail at the time of the raffle draw.

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash. All images are for promotional purposes only.

Please note – Hard copy raffle tickets won’t be issued. The email you receive after purchase will act as the confirmation of your ticket(s).

All personal information you provide will be held and used by the Promoter, the AFL and by selected third parties in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy which can be found at www.westernbulldogs.com.au/privacy.  Your personal information will be kept securely and confidentially.  The promoter may use your personal information for promotional and direct marketing activities and for other purposes as specified in the Privacy Policy.  By entering this Raffle and providing your personal information, you agree to such use.   

Although you may choose not to provide us with certain information, please be aware that this choice may affect our ability to contact you before the 2018 Grand Final.  Entrants can advise the Promoter at any time if they no longer wish to receive information from the Promoter or its affiliates by contacting the Promoter’s Privacy Officer at privacy.officer@westernbulldogs.com.au.  The Promoter may continue to provide entrants with information for an indefinite period unless and until advised otherwise by entrants.

Prize Conditions

The Grand Final will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Saturday the 29th September 2018, this cannot be transferred for any other date. No flights are included. No access granted to the change room post-match and there is no opportunity for signatures from the team on the day. The winner acknowledges that the tickets may not be sold or offered for sale. Tickets are 2x category 2 seats to the 2018 Toyota AFL Grand Final and are not subject to upgrade or exchange.   It is the responsibility of the winner to collect the 2018 Toyota AFL Grand Final tickets from Victoria University Whitten Oval between Tuesday 25 September and Thursday 27 September, between the hours of 9am and 5pm.

If the major prize is not claimed by the winner by 5pm Thursday 27 September, the Western Bulldogs Football Club cannot be held liable for any resultant loss and the winner forfeits the right to the listed or any alternative prize. 

The accommodation is reserved for Friday 28th September 2018 and the arrangement relates to standard twin room accommodation only based on two people. If the winner would like to alter this room, it is subject to availability and is to be negotiated directly with the Park Hyatt Melbourne. In the event that the winner is not available to claim this portion of the prize, it cannot be rescheduled for a later date. All food, beverages and other incidental costs incurred by the winner are to be settled prior to departure from, and direct with, the Park Hyatt Melbourne. The winner must comply with Park Hyatt Melbourne check-in, check-out and other relevant policies.

Dinner for two at Maha Restaurant will be on Friday 28th September 2018 and the arrangement relates to Maha Restaurants 8 course degustation and matching wine for two people; valued at $450. Rescheduling is subject to availability and is to be negotiated directly with Maha Restaurant. All additional food and beverages are the responsibility of the winner and are payable directly to Maha restaurant.

Ineligible Persons

The following persons are ineligible to win a prize for themselves or on behalf of any other person:

(a)           office holders, management, employees and contractors of the Promoter;

(b)           any nominee, retailer or supplier associated with the Raffle;

(c)           immediate family members of persons listed in (a) and (b) (note that ‘immediate family members’ means spouse (including a de facto spouse), parent, natural or adoptive child and sibling (whether natural or adoptive), whether or not they live in the same household as the person listed in (a) and (b)).
