Etihad Stadium opened in March 2000 and is characterised by its retractable roof. The roof, which takes eight minutes to either open or close, is 38m above the playing surface, and has provided photographers with some unique viewpoints of AFL games over the years.

The venue was purpose built for Australian Football as a replacement for Waverley Park but has hosted plenty of other sports over the years, and is recognised as one of the best stadiums of its kind in the world.

Walk from Southern Cross Station via the pedestrian bridge to Etihad Stadium. It's around a four-minute walk. If you’re coming from outside Melbourne, V/Line services will take you to Southern Cross Station.

Trams run to Etihad Stadium from LaTrobe Street and Harbour Esplanade. They also stop in the CBD on Spencer Street, Bourke Street and Collins Street and all are a short walk to the venue. Visit Metlink for more information.

A Membership Services representative is located at the Mini-Dome opposite Gate 2 on the external concourse and at the Merchandise tent located on the Bourke Street footbridge from Sothern Cross for all Home matches throughout the season.

The KooGa Fan of the Day winner receives a Western Bulldogs guernsey, a KooGa cap and the excitement of being interviewed for the big screen at Etihad Stadium. Selected lucky runner-ups will also receive the opportunity to participate in the player Guard of Honour. This once-in-a-lifetime experience gives you access to the players race and hallowed Etihad Stadium turf, before cheering the boys on as they run through the banner.

The EJ Whitten Social Club is located on Level 1 outside Aisle 16 in the Victory Room and is open for EJ Whitten Social Club members only.

Members can enjoy a drink and a meal in our family friendly Club room as current and past Bulldog greats take to the stage for an exclusive question and answer sessions before the game.

If you want to enquire about how to upgrade your membership to include social club, call us on 1300 46 36 47.

Etihad Stadium provides easy access for mobility impaired patrons through elevators, ramps and easily accessed mobility impaired seats and wheelchair bays.

Accessible lifts are located at street level at the Bourke Street and Harbour Esplanade entrances and connect to Etihad Stadium’s external concourse (Level 1).

Stairwells are located adjacent to the lift lobbies and ramps are situated throughout all levels.

Access to the car park is only via the lifts or stairs. There is no ramp access. Parking at Etihad Stadium is available via the Bourke Street Extension (Car Parks A & B) or Wurundjeri Way (Car Parks D & E).
