Western Bulldogs Grassroots Football

As the Community Club of the AFL, the Western Bulldogs are committed to the development and enhancement of grassroots football in the West through our partnership with AFL Victoria and the WRFL.

Our Bulldogs Friendly Auskick Centres (BFAC) and Bulldogs Friendly Clubs (BFC) are great programs aimed to promote and support local football organisations while providing all participants with a fun and safe football experience.  The Western Bulldogs recognise the significant contribution these clubs and centres make to the municipalities of Brimbank, Hobson’s Bay, Maribyrnong, Melton and Wyndham – our Bulldogs Backyard.

Western Region Football League

The Western Bulldogs are proud to announce ourselves as the junior partners of one of the fastest growing leagues in Australia, the Western Region Football League (WRFL).

This new partnership will see the Western Bulldogs and the WRFL teaming up to increase participation and create a unique Bulldogs experience for the region’s junior AFL players.  Throughout the season, we will also sponsor the Player of the Week and Team of the Month competition with some unique experiences up for grabs for the winners.

This partnership will also allow the WRFL to take advantage of Bulldogs player appearances, tickets to attend matches at Etihad Stadium, and plenty of giveaways.

If you are interested in playing footy, or if you have just arrived in the area and are looking for a new club, visit the WRFL’s website www.wrfl.org.au for all your information.  Whether you are a junior or senior player of all abilities, there is a team for you.

Bulldog Friendly Clubs

Our Bulldogs Friendly Clubs aim to provide a positive and supportive relationship between football clubs and the Western Bulldogs.  This relationship provides plenty of opportunities for people to get involved in the Bulldogs through player appearances, giveaways, junior membership opportunities for junior clubs, and opportunities to attend matches at Etihad Stadium throughout the year.

BULLDOGS FRIENDLY AUSKICK CENTRES

Our Bulldogs Friendly Auskick Centres aim to provide the budding participants at AFL Auskick centres in the West with the opportunity to become part of the Western Bulldogs.  Participants, and their families, have the chance to meet their favourite Bulldogs heroes, attend matches at Etihad stadium, receive plenty of giveaways and even win a chance to have Woofer at their centre.  One of the highlights of our Bulldogs Friendly Auskick Centres is our annual AFL Auskick Superclinic where kids can play footy with the players at various locations across the West.
