Are you an Employee? Then this bit is for you!

What’s it all about?

The training package put simply is a set of nationally recognised, industry relevant competencies or skills that an employee must be able to perform effectively in the workplace.  The package is made up of Core Units, which are compulsory and cover the daily operation of your duties and Elective Units, which are chosen as additional skills set by the employer, that are appropriate for the workplace.
On completion of a Certificate there is a pathway available to continue your personal and professional development, it’s not “just a piece of paper”, it’s a stepping stone to a potentially new career.
Tests are history; there is no failing. If a trainee hasn’t fulfilled the relevant criteria at assessment time, the unit will be reassessed at a later date removing the anxieties often based with returning to a formal educational environment.  Assessments are a demonstration of practical skills bundled together with written and oral questions, verifying your abilities to perform the task properly.
