After enduring hot conditions in Perth and a four hour journey back to Melbourne, Jordan Roughead says a meticulous approach to recovery is high on the agenda at the kennel.

“[We’ve done] a bit of recovery movement, obviously with the flight with the boys it’s important to get a bit of movement,” Roughead said.

Roughead said his teammates were eager to get straight into the review of the Eagles clash this week, learn from it, and turn their focus to the Kangaroos this week.

“We’ve obviously got to deal with the disappointment of the weekend just gone,” he said.

“We will review that and take as much out of it as we can so that moving forward we don’t have to play any more games like that.”

The Bulldogs will hold their main training session today, and Roughead said the team will make the most of the session, ahead of Sunday’s match.

“The main session will be some drills that we need to work on after the review and leading into next week.”
