Four changes have been made to the Bulldogs side to face Sydney Swans on Sunday, including the addition of Ayce Cordy who is poised to play his first senior game for season 2014.

Jack Macrae, Nathan Hrovat and Lin Jong join the versatile tall as the Bulldogs inclusions, adding youth and excitement to the side.

From the side that faced North Melbourne in round 21, Will Minson, Jarrad Grant, Sam Darley and Lachie Hunter have all been omitted.

Cordy has been plying his trade playing for Footscray in the VFL, and has been a consistent performer this season.

After a week on the sidelines, Jack Macrae has also been included in the senior side and the Bulldogs leading possession winner will bolster the team through the middle.

Nathan Hrovat further adds to the young Bulldogs side, set to play his 11th game for the season along with elevated rookie Lin Jong who has been rewarded for his dominance at VFL level.

Assistant Coach Shannon Grant said the Bulldogs would look to put in a highly competitive performance, without deterring from the contested style of football the Club values highly.

“They’ve got great players and match winners across every line, so we just have to make sure that we are competitive and look after the players that we need to as well,” Grant said.

“We all know they are a quality team, we have actually got nothing to lose.

“There are obviously key areas that we will need to focus on to make sure we are competitive in and if we can do that hopefully the boys can have a decent result.”
