Three previously listed Bulldogs players have been granted permission to train with the Club, by the AFL, in the lead-up to the upcoming national, preseason and rookie drafts.

Daniel Pearce will rejoin the playing group to train after being delisted earlier this week.

The Club has previously indicated its commitment to Pearce to re-draft him as a rookie for season 2015.

Meanwhile, Brett Goodes and Alex Greenwood have also been granted to permission to train at Whitten Oval in the ensuing weeks.

30-year-old Goodes was judged best afield in Footscray’s 2014 VFL Grand Final victory in September, and played 15 senior matches in two seasons at the Kennel.

Greenwood, 21, was also part of Footscray’s VFL Premiership, however is yet to debut for the Club at senior level after spending three seasons on the Bulldogs’ rookie list.
