Season in short:

Daniel joined the Bulldogs at pick 46 in the NAB AFL National Draft.

The 18-year-old had an outstanding last three games of the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships, winning All Australian honours.

He averaged 20 disposals at 92 per cent efficiency in three appearances during the championships, including a best-afield display against Vic Country with 27 touches, eight tackles and three goals.

Daniel also impressed in 11 SANFL games for South Adelaide.

 

The stat that mattered:

The South Australian highlighted his elite endurance at the NAB AFL Draft Combine, sharing top honours in the beep test with a level 16.1 and scored 25/30 in the clean hands test.

“We felt that his (Daniel) uncontested possessions, his kicking efficiency, was something that was a priority. We see that even though he’s small he’s got that huge running capacity.
