Warnie from The Traders, AFL.com.au’s NAB AFL Fantasy experts, will be taking a look at the Bulldogs each week exclusive to westernbulldogs.com.au.

LAST WEEK

It wasn’t a trip to remember for the Bulldogs in round three. Before boarding the plane, Matthew Boyd was withdrawn from the squad with soreness while Marcus Bontempelli was a late out with calf soreness.

The carnage didn’t end there. Mitch Wallis came off the ground with a back injury in the first quarter while Dale Morris (shoulder) was substituted out. Wallis finished on 10 points, while Morris had 26.

Luke Dahlhaus (101) top scored for the Bulldogs thanks to his 29 disposal game. Lin Jong’s impressive start to 2015 continued with 93 points as did Michael Talia, racking up 90 points and increasing $36K.

TOP 5 SCORERS V HAWTHORN

  1. 101 – Luke Dahlhaus (FWD, $527,000)
  2. 93 – Lin Jong (MID, $328,000)
  3. 90 – Michael Talia (DEF, $235,000)
  4. 84 – Will Minson (RUC, $460,000)
  5. 84 – Robert Murphy (DEF, $405,000)

ON THE RADAR

Wearing the green vest two weeks in a row, it might be time to offload Brett Goodes. His breakeven is still an achievable 44, however if he is a substitute, then that could be challenging and his cash generation is limited. I suggest finding an extra $30K to get in Michael Talia. His breakeven is -7 and although he has already increased $74K, if he can put up numbers like he did on Sunday, he will be a very handy cash cow.

Mitch Honeychurch is still making a lot of coin for us in the forward line. He is up $80K on his starting price and is projected to add another $22K this week.

WHAT’S COMING UP

Boyd and Bontempelli are both likely to suit up on Sunday against the Crows at Etihad Stadium. The Bont was a popular inclusion last week off the back of his opening two games that has seen him average 118.5.

Last time the Dogs met Adelaide, Matthew Boyd racked up the most touches (33) to score 107 points and is projected to top score on Sunday. Jack Macrae, Luke Dahlhaus and Bontempelli follow.
