Matthew Boyd has made a habit over the years in performing in big moments, and Saturday night’s win against the Blues was no different.

The former skipper preferred the week leading into his 250th game to be a low key affair, but on the field his performance was anything but.

Boyd collected 31 possessions and a game-high 14 marks, and with it the acknowledgement of both senior coaches, polling nine out of a maximum ten AFLCA votes.

Jason Johannisen continued his good run of form with another eye-catching performance, polling three votes from the coaches, while trio Jack Macrae (3), Liam Picken (2) and Koby Stevens (1) rounded out the voting.
