Rookie utility Daniel Pearce has been elevated to the Club’s primary list, replacing Clay Smith who was placed on the long term injury list today.

Pearce has enjoyed a strong run of form in the VFL this season, and has been used through the midfield and in the forward line after spending most of his career as a rebounding defender.

The 2014 VFL Premiership player has played 15 matches this season, after injury limited him to just nine matches last season.

Pearce was taken with the Bulldogs’ third round selection in the 2011 AFL National Draft (pick 49 overall) and was delisted at the end of the 2014 season, before being redrafted in the 2015 AFL Rookie Draft.
