Warnie from The Traders, AFL.com.au’s NAB AFL Fantasy experts, will be taking a look at the Bulldogs each week exclusive to westernbulldogs.com.au.

LAST WEEK

A 98 point win was a major influence on the scoring of the Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon.

Midfielder Mitch Wallis (132) was the only player to post a beast score thanks to his 24 touches and 10 tackles, but the spread of scores from the other guys was something special.

A whopping 18 players scored over 73 points in the MCG clash compared to eight from Melbourne. This helped the Bulldogs to a Fantasy win 1800 points to 1446.

TOP 5 SCORERS V MELBOURNE

  • 132 – Mitch Wallis (MID, $484,000)
  • 108 – Luke Dahlhaus (FWD/MID, $533,000)
  • 98 – Jarrad Grant (FWD, $315,000)
  • 96 – Matthew Boyd (DEF/MID, $532,000)
  • 94 – Michael Talia (DEF, $337,000)

ON THE RADAR

Coaches should be considering bringing in Western Bulldogs to help on their quest for premiership glory.

With the Eagles, Roos and Lions over the next three matches, there is the potential for sound Fantasy scores, especially in the Grand Final against Brisbane Lions.

Like I said last week, any of the big guns should be good inclusions for your squad but there are a few others worth being on your radar.

Stewart Crameri is averaging 101.3 in his last three and fellow forward Lachie Hunter is also in great form averaging over 100. Mitch Wallis is also worth a look at $484,000 with less than 10,000 coaches owning the inform midfielder.

WHAT’S COMING UP

The Bulldogs played the Eagles in round one and face them this Sunday over in Perth.

Back in April, the Bulldogs got the win by 10 points and this week looms to be a huge test as both sides jockey for position in the top four.

Matthew Boyd and Luke Dahlhaus will be hoping to have big games again, scoring 113 apiece. Young guns Jack Macrae and Marcus Bontempelli also scored strongly with 107 and 104 respectively.
