Jake Stringer has jumped to second place on the Western Bulldogs leader board for AFLCA voting after a seven-vote game against the West Coast Eagles in round 21.

Stringer overtook captain Robert Murphy and now sits one vote behind midfielder Mitch Wallis.

The forward kicked five goals and picked up 17 disposals and three marks, including a Mark of the Year nomination.

He was the sole Bulldog to poll in the match, with Eagles forward Josh Kennedy scoring a perfect ten for his seven-goal game.

Fremantle’s Nat Fyfe and Sydney’s Dan Hannebery are the only two players left in contention for the award, with two rounds remaining.
