Warnie from The Traders, AFL.com.au’s NAB AFL Fantasy experts, will be taking a look at the Bulldogs each week exclusive to westernbulldogs.com.au.

LAST WEEK

A 23-point win over the Roos only saw the Dogs get up 1584-1573 in a hotly contested Fantasy game.

Averaging 103.4 for the last five weeks, Lachie Hunter was the top scorer for the match adding another $23K to his price. His score of 124 came from 33 disposals, eight marks and three tackles. Fellow ball-magnet Jack Macrae (116) collected 30 touches and went on to lay 7 tackles.

After a week off, Matthew Boyd bounced out of the blocks and performed for the thousands of coaches who brought him in this week. The DEF/MID scored 110 from his 32 possessions. Saving the $40K last week going to Boyd paid off instead of the most expensive defender in the competition, Liam Picken. One of the Fantasy breakout players of the year scored 79 points. While not terrible, it did see him lose $30K this week.

FWD/MID Marcus Bontempelli racked up 23 important touches for 93 points.

WHAT’S COMING UP

The Bulldogs travel to the Gabba to take on the Lions on Saturday afternoon in what is likely to be a Fantasy points fest.

The Brisbane Lions are giving up plenty of points and owners of the boys in the red, white and blue could come out on top.

When the two sides met in round 12, Jack Macrae finished with 35 touches for 120 points as nine players scored 90 or more points.

Look to bring in some Western Bulldogs for your Grand Final for a potential leg up on your opponent in round 23.

SEASON WRAP

Luke Dahlhaus has scored the most points of any Bulldog this year with 2063, playing every game for for the season. He is closely followed by Jack Macrae (1998) and Liam Picken (1951).

Macrae (105.2) is the highest averaging Dog. Matthew Boyd (104.4) gained dual position status and after adding DEF, he is now one of the best backs in the competition. Liam Picken (102.7) has enjoyed a Fantasy breakout increasing $136K.
