The Western Bulldogs are encouraging members and supporters to get active with their children through the month of October, as part of VicHealth's Walk to School Month.

Walk to School month promotes healthy habits and is a free, easy and fun way for kids to get active in October.

The campaign encourages primary school children to walk, ride or scoot to and from school throughout the month, to help them get the 60 minutes of physical activity they need each day.

VicHealth is a proud platinum partner of the Western Bulldogs Football Club and Sons of the West Men's Health Program.

By signing up for Walk to School month at www.walktoschool.vic.gov.au, you could earn points for your school and go in the running for fantastic prizes.

Primary schools can sign up and order free Walk to School materials, including student certificates, posters and stickers, while parents can find out more and sign their child up at www.walktoschool.vic.gov.au
