Revisit the draft years that brought in the current crop of Bulldogs players, continuing with the year 2009.

STEWART CRAMERI

While not beginning his career as a Bulldog, Crameri has been an excellent acquisition in his first two years at the Club.

Crameri was originally drafted to Essendon with pick number 43 in the 2009 rookie draft, after three seasons with Bendigo in the VFL, after not having played in the TAC Cup competition in his junior days.

After one season on the Bombers’ list, Crameri made his AFL debut against Collingwood in round 20 2010.

Crameri was traded to the Bulldogs at the end of season 2013 in exchange for pick number 26, and was the Dogs’ leading goal kicker in his first year at the Club in 2014.

KOBY STEVENS

Another to not begin his career at the Bulldogs, Koby Stevens joined the Club at the start of the 2013 season.

Stevens was originally drafted by West Coast with pick number 22 in the 2009 draft, and played 11 games in three years before being traded to the Bulldogs in exchange for pick 44.

In a coincidental twist, Stevens made his AFL debut against the Dogs in round 13 2010.

The inside midfielder has played 51 games since his arrival at the Club and has become one of the side’s toughest midfielders.
