Luke Beveridge has made four changes to the side that defeated Carlton by 36-points at Etihad Stadium last Saturday, with forward Tory Dickson set to make his return to senior football against Brisbane on Saturday night.

Dickson is joined by vice-captain Easton Wood, ruckman Tom Campbell and speedy midfielder Bailey Dale in the selected side.

Speaking to westernbulldogs.com.au, Senior Assistant Coach Brett Montgomery said Dickson’s return will provide some added fire power to the Bulldogs’ forward line.

“From team perspective, losing Tory’s 50 goals from last year, it’s been a fair chunk to cover,” Montgomery said.

“I think we’ve covered it really well but I think it’s important to we don’t go too many weeks without Tory in the side because he’s a vital component to our team defence as well.

“He’s electric when we haven’t got the footy and he can sniff a turnover when we get it back, so it’s great to see him back.”

The return of All Australia defender Wood is also important to the team’s structure Montgomery said, particularly from a leadership perspective.

“It’ll be Easton’s first game as captain - I think he’ll really relish the opportunity and I think it’s a role that will really suit him.

“In terms of form, he’s a really important player for us.”

Wood was a late withdrawal from the round three clash with Hawthorn after suffering hamstring tightness and will play his first game for the Club since picking up 19-disposals and six marks against St.Kilda in round two.

Draftee Kieran Collins is one step closer to a senior debut after being named as an emergency along with Jack Redpath and Toby McLean, while former Lion Jed Adcock will play his first game against his former side after being named on the interchange.

Injury sees Jason Johannisen and forward Tom Boyd come out of the round four side, while Joel Hamling and Toby McLean have been omitted.
