Bulldogs midfielder Lachie Hunter’s 44-disposal performance against North Melbourne has earned the recognition of coaches Brad Scott and Luke Beveridge.

Playing across half-back and through the midfield, Hunter received six votes from the senior coaches in the AFLCA Award, his third consecutive week polling votes.

Hunter’s career 44-disposals on Friday night, surpasses his previous best 36-disposal performance against Essendon  in Round 18, 2015.

The 21-year-old midfielder ranks second overall in the competition for disposals after the first six rounds of the home and away season.

He also sits equal 10th on the AFL Coaches Association 2016 Champion Player of the Year Leaderboard.

Jack Macrae was the only other Bulldog to poll votes, receiving three votes from the coaches.

North Melbourne key-defender Scott Thompson topped the voting from the match.
