Two Bulldogs polled AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award votes in Sunday afternoon’s loss to the GWS Giants.

Marcus Bontempelli continued his rich vein of form, with his third consecutive 30 plus disposal performance, earning three votes from the coaches.

Bontempelli had 32 disposals, six clearances and four tackles for the match, operating at 72 percent efficiency

Dale Morris was the second Bulldog to poll, with the veteran defender a rock down back, playing 100 percent game time and winning his share of one-on-one contests in critical moments.

Heath Shaw was determined as the best player on the ground by the coaches, polling eight votes from the coaches Leon Cameron and Luke Beveridge.
