The Western Bulldogs have included six players to the 25-man squad to take on Collingwood this Sunday.

Matthew Boyd is available to play having served his one match ban for rough conduct, along with Marcus Adams who has overcome a finger injury.

Senior Assistant Brett Montgomery said both Boyd and Adams would provide a boost to a defensive line that had been hit with a number of injuries so far this season.

“He’s (Boyd) been in great form, obviously we missed him on the weekend,“  Montgomery said.

“It was an opportunity if anything else for him to freshen up, so he’ll be important to us.”

“Marcus played some terrific footy before going out and was unlucky with that little break, so we are starting to get some shape back into our back end.”

Another player to return from suspension is power forward Jack Redpath, Montgomery also pointing to his strong form of late.

“He’d (Redpath) worked so hard to get back into the AFL and become a bit of a beacon for us up forward which we need and love,” he said.

Matt Suckling comes into the squad after spending the past four games on the sidelines with an ankle injury, along with Josh Dunkley and Will Minson who have put together consistent performances in the VFL

Lin Jong will miss the next fortnight with suspension, first year player Kieran Collins has been omitted and Koby Stevens will miss with an abdominal complaint.
