The Western Bulldogs will return to Ballarat for their 2017 Australia Post AFL Community Camp, for the third consecutive year.

Bulldogs players and staff will split their time between Ballarat and Horsham on 20 and 21 February as they look to strengthen the Club’s relationship with the west of Victoria.

Players will once again interact with locals through community and school visits, clinics and training sessions.

Bulldogs Ballarat Engagement Manager Brett Goodes said the Club looked forward to once again spending time in the region.

“The camp is a great opportunity for our players and staff to interact with the Ballarat community, who we are starting to build a really solid partnership with.

“We are excited to see the camp extend to Horsham in 2017, to ensure we continue to strengthen our relationship with the west of Victoria.

“The whole club is excited about our Round 22 fixture at Eureka Stadium, and we hope by continuing to spend more time in the region we will generate excitement leading into the match.”

The 2017 Australia Post AFL Community Camps will see all 18 AFL clubs visit fans across Australia.

The Australia Post AFL Community Camps started in 2003 and so far have reached a total of 1,118,278 students across 5,873 school visits since the program’s inception.
