Western Bulldogs AFLW coach Paul Groves has made two changes to the team that defeated Fremantle by 32-points last Saturday night at Victoria University Whitten Oval.

With Kirsty Lamb set to miss the upcoming clash with the Crows due to suspension, and Jaimee Lambert pulling up sore, rookie Romy Timmins and Courtney Clarkson will make their AFLW debuts.

“Romy’s been working really hard, she’s one of our rookie selections, so she’ll roll through the midfield, Groves told westernbulldogs.com.au

“And Courtney Clarkson gets a crack after playing well in the practice game against Collingwood - she was very unlucky to miss last week, so she comes in and will give us that good physical presence down at full-forward.”

The Crows come into the round 2 match in second place on the AFLW ladder after disposing of GWS by six goals at Thebarton Oval last weekend.

“They were really impressive, Groves said of the Crows.

“Some of their better players like Chelsea Randall and Erin Phillips were really dynamic and have got that x-factor, and Ebony Marinoff, who was the other Rising Star (with the Bulldogs’ Bailey Hunt), is going to be a really good footballer.

“You can see that they’re all playing for each other and they’re really enjoying their time but we think we’re ready for the challenge.”
