Veteran journalist Mike Sheahan has ignited debate amongst footy fans for more than two decades with his annual list of top 50 players and after a two year hiatus, he is back with his latest rankings.

Sheahan has named three Bulldogs in slots 50 to 11, with the top 10 to be revealed this Monday on SEN radio.

Liam Picken was ranked 43rd by Sheahan, while defender Easton Wood has been slotted in at number 32, and coming in at number 25 is another defender, Dale Morris.

Sheahan has been naming his top 50 players at the start and end of each season since 1993, with past lists having included such Bulldogs greats as Chris Grant, Rohan Smith, Scott Wynd, Scott West and Brad Johnson.

Currently listed players to have previously been listed include Morris, Bob Murphy, Matthew Boyd and Tom Liberatore.  You can view the full list on SEN.com.au.
