Jack Redpath will play his first game since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in Round 18 last season when he lines up against Richmond on Saturday afternoon in the VFL at Etihad Stadium.

Footscray are one of group of sides with a 2-1 record, and a win over the Tigers will see the Dogs push into the top four, a prospect boosted by the presence of Redpath, and fellow AFL listed players, Stewart Crameri, Tory Dickson and Bailey Dale up forward.

Big man Tom Campbell has been named after being a late withdrawal from the AFL side last week, and will take his place in the ruck, while first year tall Tim English will play out of the goal square.

Mitch Wallis, who made his own return to football last weekend with a 34 disposal, three goal, best afield performance has been named in the midfield for his second game in nine months.

Footscray takes on Richmond at Etihad Stadium at 3.30pm, before the AFL game between the Bulldogs and Tigers from 7.25pm.
