Jake Stringer returned in style on Saturday afternoon, earning a maximum ten votes from the coaches for his 15 disposal, five goal performance against the Saints.
Stringer was back to his combustible best following two weeks off with a knee injury, kicking four goals in the first half to finish with five in the Dogs’ authoritative 40-point win.
Lachie Hunter also caught the coaches’ eye for his lock-down job on St.Kilda playmaker Jack Steven, while Marcus Adams, Jason Johannisen, Bailey Dale, Mitch Wallis and Caleb Daniel were also amongst the votes.
Ruckman Bill Longer was the only Saint to register a vote.
Every round, the AFL coaches vote for the best players from their game. The coaches vote for five players, giving them a mark from 1-5.
The maximum a player can score is 10 (with five votes from both coaches).
