Liam Picken was one of seven Bulldogs to receive votes from the coaches after the Club’s 54-point win over the Gold Coast Suns in Cairns on Saturday.

Picken’s scored the maximum 10 votes from the coaches after kicking a career-high six goals and pulling down six marks inside 50, his presence providing the Bulldogs with a key target in front of goal in a game critical to his sides’ September chances.

Defender Shane Biggs was influential across half back, picking up 27 touches at 93%, 10 marks and six votes, while Lachie Hunter’s game high 31 touches saw him awarded six votes as well.

Every round, the AFL coaches vote for the best players from their game. The coaches vote for five players, giving them a mark from 1-5. The maximum a player can score is 10 (with five votes from both coaches)
