Up to five Western Bulldogs Women’s players are set to play in the VFL Women’s Grand Final on Sunday after Darebin defeated St Kilda in the preliminary final at Piranah Park over the weekend.

After trailing by four points at the final break, the Falcons rallied to claim a five-point victory.

AFLW listed Bulldogs Nicole Callinan, Libby Birch, Katie Brennan and Aasta O’Connor are expected to pull on the jumper for Darebin once again, while Kirsty Lamb is the sole representative for Diamond Creek.

Diamond Creek were 25-point victors a fortnight ago against Darebin in the semi-final, but the Falcons will be out to claim back-to-back VFL Women’s premierships with a win on Sunday.

Bouncedown is at midday at Etihad Stadium.
