22-year-old Lachie Hunter's 2017 season was one of his best yet, averaging 22 possessions per game.

His standout game match came against Collingwood in Round 1 where he collected 21 disposals (13 kicks 8 handballs), 6 marks and three goals. He also booted three goals against Fremantle in Round 3.

The stat that mattered:

Hunter proved his value on the scoreboard in 2017, slotting 18 majors for the season – a career high.

“It was [a] pretty consistent [season] and I was happy to play all games this year.

“It obviously wasn’t the result we were after towards the end of the year. But hopefully we can build on that over the pre-season and go again.”
