Scans have confirmed that Western Bulldogs forward Tory Dickson will miss at least the next month of football with a hamstring injury.

Dickson left the ground early in the second quarter of Saturday’s 54-point loss to Fremantle and did not return.

“Tory suffered a hamstring injury after overstretching in a contest in the second quarter of the game on the weekend,” Medical Services Manager Chris Bell told westernbulldogs.com.au on Monday.

“Scans today have confirmed a moderate grade injury which means that we will be planning a return to play in about 4-6 weeks.”

Young defender Aaron Naughton will be back training by the end of the week after suffering a heavy blow to the face that left the teenager bloodied.

“Aaron suffered a direct blow to his face in the third quarter of the game on the weekend,” Bell said.  Luckily he didn't suffer any concussion symptoms but he did get a cut to his chin.”

“He's come in really well today and we expect him to full train later in the week.”

Jack Redpath’s return date, however, remains unclear after missing the Perth trip with general knee soreness.

It is the same knee in which he has suffered two previous reconstructions.

“We're working really hard to get Jack back out there on the track,” Bell said.  “At this stage we'll have more of an accurate idea when we can get him back into training in the next one to two weeks.”

But in better news for the Club, Hayden Crozier looks set to be available for selection this week after progressing well from the MCL injury he suffered in Round 1 against GWS.

“He's still got to get through training this week but if he ticks all of our boxes this week he'll be available ,” said Bell.
