Western Bulldogs AFLW forward Daria Bannister has departed the Club to take up an opportunity with expansion team North Melbourne.

Bannister joins Jenna Bruton and Emma Kearney as players who have left the Club since the end of the 2018 season.

“We are supportive of Daria’s decision to take up this opportunity and we wish her all the best in the future,” said Bulldogs’ General Manager of Women’s Football, Debbie Lee.

“Daria is originally from Tasmania, which has an alignment with North Melbourne through the AFL talent development program, and in making this decision it will allow her to spend more time with her family in her home state.”

Bannister was drafted to the Bulldogs in the 2017 National Draft, but unfortunately suffered an ACL injury in the opening round last season.
