Jason Johannisen was awarded a maximum 10 AFLCA votes from the coaches for his performance in the Dogs’ win over St Kilda on Saturday.

Johannisen was joined by Bulldogs teammates Jackson Macrae (8 votes), Josh Dunkley (4 votes), Marcus Bontempelli (2 votes) and Lachie Hunter (2 votes) to poll in Round 20.

Johannisen gathered 42 disposals - a career high - to go with 12 rebound 50s and five inside 50s.

Macrae (36 disposals), Dunkley (34) and Hunter (32) were busy for the Dogs as was Marcus Bontempelli who kicked four third term goals.

Every round, the AFL coaches vote for the best players from their game. The coaches vote for five players, giving them a mark from 1-5.

The maximum a player can score is 10 (with five votes from both coaches).
