Marcus Bontempelli has earned maximum AFLCA votes from Luke Beveridge and Brad Scott for his performance in Sunday’s win over North Melbourne.

The Dogs took a clean sweep of the voting for Round 21, with Bontempelli joined by teammates Lachie Hunter (8 votes), Jackson Macrae (5), Caleb Daniel (5) and Jason Johannisen (2).

Bontempelli collected 35 disposals, four clearances, seven inside 50s and finished with two goals.

It was the first time in Club history that three players amassed 40 or more disposals in a single game (Hunter, Macrae and Daniel).

Every round, the AFL coaches vote for the best players from their game. The coaches vote for five players, giving them a mark from 1-5.

The maximum a player can score is 10 (with five votes from both coaches).

After 21 rounds, Macrae is the best placed Bulldog on the overall leaderboard with 56 votes (equal 14th).
