Western Bulldogs General Manager of List and Recruiting, Sam Power, has provided an update the state of play for the Club with less than two days remaining in the 2018 NAB Trade Period.
Speaking on AFL Trade Radio on Monday night, Power discussed the status of Jordan Roughead, Marcus Adams, Tom Liberatore and the Club’s interest in Hawk Taylor Duryea.

Tom Liberatore:
“We’re really confident that Libba will be at the Bulldogs.”
“He’s been training really well, doing his rehab really well, he’s been into the Club regularly since he’s come back from overseas, so it’s really positive.
“All the communications with both Libba, myself and Tom Williams – his manager – have been really positive as well.
“We won’t be trading him, and Tom’s indicated to us that he wants to remain at the Bulldogs.
“With all that information and the dialogue between the two parties, we’re really confident that a deal will get done and it will only be a matter of time.”
Taylor Duryea:
“Taylor’s a player we’ve got interest in.”
“That’s something we’ll work through over the next couple of days with Hawthorn and what that might look like to hopefully bring Taylor in.
“If we bring him in it will be more likely to be down back, but he has also demonstrated that he has got some flexibility, which we like.”
Marcus Adams:
“Marcus has indicated to the Club is that he wants a fresh start and he has nominated Brisbane as that team.”
“He’s obviously got two years to go on a contract and he’s someone that we value really highly.
“It would have to be a really compelling offer from Brisbane for us to consider it, otherwise if we aren’t able to get that, we’ll definitely want to retain him as a player."
Jordan Roughead:
“(Roughy) indicated at the end of the year that he wanted to explore his free agency options, which he is obviously entitled to.”
“There was a little bit of interest from West Coast which didn’t eventuate and now Collingwood seem like they’ve got interest.
“We’re working with Collingwood on a trade and how that looks over the next few days.”
