The Western Bulldogs are well placed to secure a new crop of young stars in this year’s NAB AFLW Draft.

The Bulldogs head to Tuesday’s Draft at Marvel Stadium with picks 10, 23, 26, 34 and 46.

The Club has already made three key signings ahead of the 2019 AFLW season, with Fremantle’s Belinda Smith signing as a free agent, before rookies Celine Moody and Tessa Boyd arrived at VU Whitten Oval in September.

Bulldogs’ Women’s Football General Manager Debbie Lee said that the Club is confident this year’s draft pool will enable the group to build on the success of the 2018 campaign.

“We’re really confident that we will select some great talent through this year’s Draft,” Lee told westernbulldogs.com.au

“Our 2018 draftees were a key pillar of the Club’s success this year, with all players contributing across the season and many of them receiving NAB Rising Star nominations.

“After such an outstanding 2018 season, we’re really keen to build our list and continue to create a sustainable and successful environment.”
