T & V GroupAfter beginning his career down back, Dylan Addison spent the second half of 2012 establishing himself as a defensive forward. His transition proved valuable with his increased versatility adding some grit to the Dogs forward setup. The 25 year-old was drafted to the Bulldogs in the 2005 AFL National Draft as a second round selection (pick 27 overall) before making his debut in 2006.
After making four appearances in 2011, Addison has noticeably stepped up his game, including finding a new niche as a defensive forward. His unrelenting style of play suits Coach Brendan McCartney’s contested ball mantra allowing him to cement his spot in the starting line-up. Fierce at the contest, Addison missed a month of football after enduring a broken jaw in the Bulldogs clash with Essendon in round 14.

The hard at-it defender/midfielder showed what he was capable of in round eight with 19 disposals and a career-high six tackles against Richmond. Has a terrific competitive spirit and will get his chance to fit into a contested-style game plan in 2012. Signed a contract extension last November.
