The tall forward blossomed in his second year in AFL ranks, playing 20 games and asserting himself in marking contests. He led the club in contested marks (43) and looks a ready-made replacement for the retiring Barry Hall in either of the key forward positions. Won the Tony Liberatore most improved player award as the club’s most promising player. Signed a contract extension in November. Player honours: AFL NAB Rising Star nominee 2011.
