After missing the second half of 2008 with osteitis pubis, Bulldogs fans were hopeful the No. 5 draft pick of 2007 would finally show his wares but the tall forward managed just one AFL game. Made his debut in the round five loss to Carlton, with his only kick resulting in a behind, and was immediately demoted, finishing the season in the VFL reserves. However, the Dogs maintain high hopes for him.

Draft history: 2007 NAB AFL Draft 1st round selection (Western Bulldogs) No. 5 overall.
