FAQs

Is a ticket required to attend the game?

All patrons must have a ticket to enter VU Whitten Oval. Tickets must be purchased online prior and will not be available at the gate. 

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets are FREE to redeem for 2021 AFLW members. Adult and concession tickets are $10 for non-members and free to redeem for juniors. 

How do I guarantee good seats?

Get there early. Gates will open 90 minutes before first bounce. 

Disabled Access?

Disabled access is available by Gate 4 only. A dedicated disabled viewing area is located in Zone 4. 

Disabled parking is available within the VU Whitten Oval car park upon presentation of a disability sticker to security. Entry to the car park is via Hocking St. 

If you have accessible booking requirements, including wheelchair and/or companion card requirements, please book your tickets through Ticketmaster’s Accessible Tickets team by emailing accessibletickets@ticketmaster.com.au from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Please ensure you include the Event Name, Venue, Date and Time along with your contact details.

Entrances? 

Enter via the gate referenced on your ticket. Due to COVID-19 restrictions you may only enter and exit via the specific gate referenced. Please make sure your purchase tickets with this in mind. Entrances to the VU Whitten Oval will be located at: 

  • Gate 1/Zone 1: Barkly St (next to Women's Circus)
  • Gate 2/Zone 2Whitten Avenue (near the corner of Barkly St)
  • Gate 3/Zone 3: Cross St 
  • Gate 4/Zone 4: Main entrance on Whitten Avenue

Please, note disabled access is available by Gate 4 in Zone 4 only. A dedicated disabled viewing area is located in this zone.  

Lost Children?

Lost children should be taken to venue staff or security within your zone. An announcement will also be made by the MC when appropriate. 

First Aid? 

Should you require First Aid assistance please see venue staff or security within your zone.  

Fans are reminded to stay cool and wear sun protection at day games.

For lost property please contact the Western Bulldogs Reception (03 8899 7414). 

Membership?

AFLW Memberships start from just $50. Visit the membership team located in the ticket booth outside the Bulldogs Shop on Whitten Avenue. 

Merchandise? 

Merchandise outlets will be available in Zones 1, 2 & 4. 

The Bulldogs Shop in Zone 4 will remain open until after the final siren. Merchandise outlets in Zones 1 & 2 will close after half time 

Pass outs?

Pass outs are available at your designated gate.  

Smoking? 

Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited anywhere within VU Whitten Oval. 

If you wish to smoke, you will need to leave the precinct. 

Safety and Security?

We encourage all patrons to report anything suspicious that they see. To report anti-social behaviour text 0419 193 163 

Prohibited Items: 

  • Alcohol 
  • Glass or cans 
  • Chairs or stools
  • Bikes, scooters etc.
  • Any animal (other than a companion animal required for medical reasons as documented in a medical certificate provided by a trained medical specialist) 
  • Firearms, weapons, fireworks or any other items deemed to be or which may be considered to be dangerous 
  • Flag/banner poles or extendable flag/banner poles exceeding 1.6m in length 

Please note that patrons are required to present all bags for inspection upon entry to the venue. The maximum bag size allowed into the venue will be backpacks.

Conditions of Entry 

Patrons are asked not to attend the game if they are unwell or have been asked to self-isolate or quarantine.  

Physical distancing must be maintained at all times 

You must remain in your designated zone for the duration of the game and comply with any direction given to you by venue staff. 

All attendees are strongly encouraged to scan into their zone via the QR codes on display.
