How will tickets be allocated within the venue?

Ticket allocations may vary by state and/or venue according to any requirements and directions issued by the Government of the State or Territory in which the Venue is located.

  • Allocated Seating (where available)

COVID-19 regulations may require seats to be distanced apart. Seats may be allocated in pre-determined pod sizes or as flexible group allocations.  Please refer to your ticket or the relevant ticket agent website for further information.

  • Free Standing/General Admission

Capacity limits may be set to allow patrons to physically distance themselves from other groups within free-standing or general admission grandstand areas at venues. We require you to practise physical distancing in the venue wherever possible (staying in your allocated area, following signage/markers etc).

  • Zones

Zones may be implemented to segment patrons within a venue to assist with crowd management and contact tracing.  Where zones exist, they will be noted on your ticket.  Patrons must stay within their dedicated zone, until you have exited the venue. Patrons must also enter the venue via the assigned gate (and time if applicable) listed on their ticket. Amenities, food and beverages will be available within each zone.

Why aren’t all seats available for sale?

In order to keep the venues safe during COVID-19 venues may have reduced capacities as approved by their State Government which means some seating areas are limited in number or not available at all.

In addition, at all venues, there are a range of operational matters which require some tickets to be held that subsequently may become available for sale closer to the match. For example, crowd management, broadcast requirements etc.
