Western Bulldogs Memberships
I am a Western Bulldogs member with AFL game access. What will happen to my membership?
Due to the coronavirus pandemic and the changes to the 2020 AFL season, including the absence of crowds at games for the foreseeable future, the Club decided to proactively contact access members by email or text message on May 20 or by post to be received in the following days.
The Western Bulldogs wrote to their access members on Wednesday 20 May, outlining a number of options relating to their 2020 memberships.
Members were asked whether they would like to pledge their 2020 membership or request a call from the Club to discuss either partial or full refund options.
Members who pledge their membership to the Club will receive a number of entitlements, including a membership price freeze for 2021, a free 2021 membership upgrade for access members or 2021 guest passes for Coteries, a commemorative member recognition fulfilment item in 2021 and exclusive member content as AFL games resume.
I’m a 2020 access member and haven’t received any communication yet?
The Western Bulldogs wrote to their access members on Wednesday 20 May by email or text message or by post to be received in the following days.
We anticipate members who did not have a valid email address or mobile number with the Club and were issued a letter by post may experience a delay in receiving this due to the coronavirus pandemic and current Australia Post delivery delays.
If you would like to contact our Membership Services Team to update or check your member contact details (including email, mobile and postal address) simply email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact our call centre between Tuesday-Thursday from 10am-4pm on (03) 8899-7414. Please note you can also leave a voicemail outside these hours noting a likely delay in our standard response times.
I’m a 2020 access member and would like to request a call to discuss my membership options?
We appreciate and acknowledge that these are difficult times and not everyone can afford to make a choice about their Bulldogs membership they might otherwise like to. Irrespective, we remain grateful to every 2020 member for making the decision to support the Club this year.
For members who need to make other arrangements and would like to request a full or partial refund we ask that you please complete the request form below so that we can discuss your refund options directly with you.
To request a call, please click on the link below that best represents your membership and payment type.
Once you have completed the membership refund request form, we will communicate with you over the coming days when you should expect to receive a call from our Membership Services Team.
Please note that due to a reduction in staff and operating hours across the Club during these financially challenging times, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we respond to your enquiry.
Can I downgrade my 2020 membership?
Western Bulldogs access members can downgrade their membership to another membership product of lower value and receive a refund on the difference of their current 2020 membership payment (refund applied to the membership value paid). We have a range of membership products to choose from including our non-access Sideline membership for only $60.
I am a Committed Bulldog payment plan member and pay my membership off monthly, what happens now?
Payments for members on Committed Bulldog payment plans will continue on the 28th day of each month in line with the terms and conditions you signed up to when purchasing your membership.
No further action is required for those members who wish to pledge their 2020 membership as the Club will rely on this as your consent to ongoing monthly payments for the remainder of your 2020 plan being made.
Considering the impact of COVID-19 on the current season and your membership arrangements, including your ability to access games noting there will not be spectator access to matches in the next phase of the season, we understand you might wish to pause the remaining payments for your 2020 membership.
In order to pause your next payment instalment scheduled for Sunday 28 June (to be processed the next business day) and your remaining 2020 payments, please complete the form below and submit before 5pm Wednesday 24 June. When completing the form you will also have the choice to either pledge any amounts paid on your 2020 membership to date, or to request a call to discuss either a full or partial refund of these prior payments.

If this does occur or you request to pause your monthly payments after this date, you will be reimbursed for the most recent payment and have your remaining payments paused.
What will my access to games be should crowds be allowed to attend matches in 2020?
If crowds are allowed to attend matches in the 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, we will communicate to all members their rights to access these games when that information becomes available.
All compensation options presented to members, except for the full refund option, will have the option to attend these matches at varying levels of access.
If I request a full refund on my 2020 membership, will an administration fee be withheld?
Western Bulldogs access members can access a full refund on all payments made, less the cost of benefits already supplied, effectively terminating any further 2020 membership benefits and 2021 membership benefits including membership continuity, reserved seating and Toyota AFL Grand Final priority.
