AFLW and AFL Season Lockout?
The AFL has suspended the Toyota AFL Premiership season and cancelled the remainder of the NAB AFLW season. What does this mean?
Due to the impact of COVID-19 and the threat of further spread of the virus, the AFL has suspended the AFL season until May 31.
The AFL will review the situation at the end of April and the League will receive ongoing medical advice to determine whether the suspension period will be extended further.
The remainder of the AFLW competition was also abandoned, with no premier to be crowned in 2020.
The Club will make every attempt to keep our members and fans updated during the suspension period. The Club will share all the latest news and updates on our website and the official club app.
What is happening with Victoria University Whitten Oval at the moment?
For the health and safety of our players, staff and fans, as well as the broader community, the offices at Victoria University Whitten Oval, including Barkers Café, are closed to external visitors, and players will not be training at the venue for the time being.
Western Bulldogs Memberships?
I am a Western Bulldogs member with AFL game access. What will happen to my membership?
We are still working to understand what the full impact COVID-19 will have on the AFL season, the Club and our membership program, and we are working diligently to determine the next course of action.
Once confirmed, the Western Bulldogs membership team will communicate this process to our valued members.
I was planning on collecting my fixture magnet at Round 1, how can I get one now?
As we hope that our members and fans will be able to return to games later in the season, we are still planning to set up collection points, should future rounds open to public.
We are currently unable to send members their fixture magnets via post and thank you for your understanding during this time. We will continue to consider ways in which members will be able to collect their 2020 fixture magnet as the season progresses, and we will ensure we keep all members updated with the latest information.
I am a Committed Bulldog payment plan member and pay my membership off monthly, what happens now?
Payments for members on Committed Bulldog payment plans will continue on the 28th day of each month in line with the terms and conditions you signed up to when purchasing your membership. Upon further advice from the AFL, we will continue to keep you informed of any amendments.
Can I speak to someone at the Club about my membership, tickets or game access?
We understand our members and fans may have a lot of questions regarding the current situation and thank you for your understanding and patience as we aim to share as much information as possible as the situation progresses.
We ask that you understand that our staff may not be able to provide all the answers to your questions right now and recommend that you follow our updates via email, the club website and the official club app to keep up to date with the latest news.

I haven’t received my membership pack yet. Is it still coming?
Yes. Membership packs will continue to be fulfilled as normal. In some instances, packs may take slightly longer than?usual?due to our partner businesses adjusting to changing conditions in response to government and expert advice.

Ticketing & Corporate Hospitality?
I purchased tickets to a Western Bulldogs game this season, what should I do?
Fans who purchased tickets to the Round 1 game between the Bulldogs and Magpies were offered a full refund via Ticketmaster.
The Club is currently working with the AFL and the other clubs regarding those who have purchased tickets for other games in the 2020 AFL season, and we will provide an update as soon as possible.
Is the Bulldogs Shop still open at Victoria University Whitten Oval?
The offices and Bulldogs Shop at Victoria University Whitten Oval are now closed to external visitors for the foreseeable future. Any changes to these times and access will be published on our website.
Is online shopping available?
Yes! All of our 2020 On-field Asics range as well as all other 2020 merchandise is all available online at the Bulldogs Shop. We will be providing FREE shipping on all orders so that our members and fans can be decked out in red, white and blue. Thanks for all your great support.

Western Bulldogs Community Foundation?
What impact does COVID-19 have on the operation of Western Bulldogs Community Foundation programs?
Ensuring the health of the community is the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation’s (WBCF) number one priority, and subsequently the difficult decision has been made to postpone all WBCF programs until at least the end of June, 2020. The Foundation’s goal is to work with program partners to deliver these programs later in the year when we can safely include all members of the community.
Any updates regarding programs and the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation will be made via the Foundation’s website and social media channels (@wbfcfoundation) on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Is the Western Bulldogs office in Ballarat open?
Due to the public health recommendations made by government to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Western Bulldogs office Ballarat is closed to the public indefinitely. Are the Western Bulldogs fan engagement programs in Ballarat still in operation?
Due to the public health recommendations made by government to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, all Western Bulldogs fan engagement programs, event appearances and activations, and joint programs with AFL Goldfields have been suspended indefinitely, with the exception of the Bulldogs Read Program.
Is the Ballarat Read Program still proceeding?
The Bulldogs Read Program will continue in a reduced format, and we encourage all participating schools and students to continue reading and submitting book reviews through the Bulldogs Read website.
