Brentwood Booragoon Football Club

The Brentwood Booragoon Bulldogs are based at Karoonda Park in the southern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. We are a senior club with a Colts side (16-20) 3 open age sides and a Veterans team (over 35's). As a mid-grade club we are just as much about having a kick and a laugh with mates as we are about on field success, however our top side came away with the 2013 Premiership, the club's 5th flag since our inception in 1978! Our club has worn 4 different jumpers in our time, currently donning a modified version of the Western Bulldogs white away strip.

We welcome players of all ages and abilities, as well as social members. We also have a strong link with the junior club at Karoonda who also share the Bulldog name, with many Father-son recruits over the years!

If you are over in WA and looking for a kick, get down to Karoonda Park and share the Bulldog spirit! For more information check the Brentwood Booragoon website

Denver Bulldogs (USAFL)

The Denver Bulldogs are the most decorated Aussie Rules Football club in USAFL history with eight men’s national championships and 6 women’s national championships.

The team consists of both American and Australian players, with a mix of skill levels from advanced to beginner.

The players who make up the Bulldogs are a wide ranging bunch, with a healthy mix of Australia ex-pats and Denver locals.

The game requires at least 9 American players on the field at all times, so there is always a nice mix between Americans and Australians running about.
If you’re interested in playing in the USAFL for the Denver Bulldogs, they would love to hear from you.

They welcome players from all footy backgrounds and it’s a great opportunity to tour the country as we play our rivals, and of course, work towards the goal of being able to call yourself a true National Champion.

South Croydon Football Club

South Croydon is a Division One senior club within the Eastern Football League. Senior clubs in the EFL typically have three teams, Seniors Reserves and U19s – we also field a Veterans Team who won the flag this year. We have an associated junior club which has teams from U8 through to U17s.

We have had a couple of our players play with the Western Bulldogs, most recently Lukas Markovic and before that, Brent Montgomery. We also have another current AFL player in Matt Jones who comes from the South Croydon Bulldogs at the Melbourne FC.

Our home ground is Cheong Park, South Croydon at the corner of Eastfield and Bayswater Rds.  The club was founded in 1969; the current rooms were built in 1980 at Cheong Park. This year an extension to the social rooms was completed with the assistance of federal and local governments. This has given us, the South Croydon Cricket Club and other community groups a great updated venue. Our next challenge is an upgrade of training lights and change rooms.

The first Senior premiership was won in 1973 and celebrated its 40th anniversary this year. Over the journey the club has had much success with a number of premierships across the 3 team and in various divisions. Details follow:

  • Senior Premiers: 1973, 1983, 1988, 1991, 2001, 2006, 2009
  • Reserves: 1980, 1983, 2001
  • Under 18’s: 1985, 1989, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005
  • Veterans 1999, 2002, 2003, 2013
  • Triple Premiers: 2001 - Seniors, Reserves, U 18’s

The 2013 season was one of the most successful on field seasons for the club, longest winning streak in Div 1; most games won in Div 1; most away wins in Div 1; and first finals appearance in Div 1.

The Club prides itself on being a community based club with the majority of our players having come through our junior system. The club has approx 200 members, both playing and social members.
