Youth Leadership Projects
As part of their Youth Leadership Program curriculum, participants are asked to complete a social impact project, a platform that enables them to give back to their community through supporting an initiative or cause that is close to their hearts. With the social deprivation that the coronavirus has caused in 2020 and the associated mental health risks, many of our participants have ideated ways in which to raise money for various mental health services including headspace and Beyond Blue. One of these participants is named Lauren from our Moorabool program has even developed and sold her own candles to help raise money for Beyond Blue.
