Daughters of the West

After the success of the DOTW pilot program in 2017, Western Bulldogs Community Foundation will be running Daughters of the West 2018 at a larger scale with the program growing on last year to eight locations.

Daughters of the West will be running in 6 metropolitan areas in partnership with Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, Maribyrnong, Melton, Wyndham city councils and 2 regional areas in partnership with City of Ballarat, Sports Central and Maryborough District Health Service.

The program will be extended from 8 weeks to 10 weeks and educate on key issues in women’s health including nutrition, mental health, physical activity and respectful relationships

Women will be given the opportunity to try new sports and activities in the weekly exercise sessions.
