The Western Bulldogs will ramp up their preparations for the 2023 AFL season with two formal hit-outs prior to round one.

As part of the official pre-season practice matches, the Dogs will face North Melbourne at IKON Park on Saturday, March 4, with the format and game length replicating Toyota AFL Premiership Season matches.

Details regarding the broadcast of the fixture are yet to be finalised, with the game beginning at 1.10pm AEST.

Prior to the final weeks of pre-season, the Dogs travel to Ballarat on February 23-25, taking part in a Community Camp.

The players will participate in a formal Captains Run on Friday, February 24, before playing an intra-club fixture amongst the squad the following day.

Times and venues will be confirmed in due course.

Teams for the official practice matches will be released by the AFL at 5pm AEDT the day prior to the match.
