It’s a moment most football fans dream of from an early age, kicking a couple of goals and getting a win in the colours of their favourite team.

So try and imagine what Patrick Lipinski is feeling like right now.

Back in October 2016, he was just another face in the stands, high up in the stands, watching the Dogs’ famous Grand Final win over the Swans.

Today, he’s has much better seats, the best actually, having played three AFL games for his Club, and on Friday night experiencing his first win.

He also hit the scoreboard, kick a goal in each of the second, third and fourth quarters, and getting the traditional Gatorade shower post-match.

The beaming 19-year-old spoke to westernbulldogs.com.au in the rooms after the game.

“It was a great day.  We had a tough game last week and to get the win it was a great experience, and the Gatorade shower was something you always dream of, it was really fun,” Lipinski said.

“It was great to sing the song for the first time with all the boys, looking up to them when I was a bit younger and playing with a few of them now.

“It’s an awesome feeling.”

Who said dreams don’t come true.
