Western Bulldogs defender Dale Morris will have minor arthroscopic surgery today to repair some slight meniscus damage in his knee.

Morris has recovered from the partial ACL tear which saw him sidelined for the first 10 AFL games, before his return to the seniors in Round 11.

“Dale has been dealing with some soreness in his knee, which he has been managing for the last couple of weeks and is unrelated to the ACL injury,” said Bulldogs’ Medical Services Manager Chris Bell.

“We’re not expecting him to be unavailable for an extended period, but we won’t have an exact time frame for his recovery until after the surgery.”
