Dale Morris will become the oldest player in VFL/AFL history to reach 250 games this weekend, when the Western Bulldogs play North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium. 

Morris will reach the 250-game milestone aged 35 years and 226 days.

Previous record holders include Vic Thorp (34 years, 217 days, Richmond, 1925), Tony Liberatore (34y, 182d, Western Bulldogs, 2000), James Hird (34y, 151d, Essendon, 2007), Aaron Sandilands (34y, 144d, Fremantle, 2017) and Don McKenzie (34y, 127d, Essendon, 1973).

Morris is the 13th player to join the 250 club at the Western Bulldogs, with Brad Johnson holding the title of most games played on 364 matches.
