The Western Bulldogs have taken Williamstown’s Ben Cavarra with pick 45 in the NAB AFL Draft.
A Morrish Medallist as a midfielder, Cavarra’s switch to a small forward in the past two seasons was rewarded with back-to-back VFL Team of the Year selections.

The 22-year old has impressed in the VFL, kicking 66.51 in his last two seasons for Williamstown.
He claimed the Seagulls’ leading goalkicker award in 2017 and 2018.
